Mrs. Carrie Lee Searcy Lowe, age 90, who resided at 754 Tom McKinley Road in Thomaston, passed away on Wednesday, October 24, 2012, at the Upson Regional Medical Center. The family may be contacted at her residence.

Wake services for Mrs. Lowe will be held on Friday, October 26, 2012, from 6-7 p.m. at the Mt. Olive Primitive Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at 1 p.m. from the Friendship Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Mt. Olive Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Jimmy Lyons is pastor and Elder Nathaniel Rolle will be the Eulogist. Family and friends will be served food at the Upson County Senior Citizen Center following funeral services.

Mrs. Lowe is survived by one son: Samuel Lowe of Decatur, Ga.; four grandchildren: Christopher (Sabrina) Lowe of Stockbridge, Ga., Antoine Lowe of Washington, DC, Terri Lowe (Ralph) Clark of Ellenwood, Ga., Lacy Denson Ross; sister and brother: Eddie Frances Crane of Decatur, Ga., and Nathaniel Searcy of Dayton, Ohio; daughter-in-law, Elaine Lowe of Decatur, Ga.; sister-in-law, Rebecca Searcy of Dayton, Ohio; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss her dearly.
