After trailing 14-2 in the first quarter, the Runnin’ Knights fought back and trailed by just two points with four seconds remaining in the game. Unfortunately, junior Caleb Ward’s three pointer at the buzzer rimmed out and the Knights lost to Spalding 58-56. Above, freshman David Marshall scores two points with this floater in the lane. Marshall finished with a career high 25 points in the loss. The Knights will face the Locust Grove Wildcats in the play-in game on Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. The game will take place at Dutchtown High School. The last meeting between the two team ended in a 66-48 victory for Upson-Lee.
