Neil Hightower honored by TUIDA

Outgoing Thomaston-Upson Industrial Development Authority Chairman Neil Hightower was recognized for his dedication and service for the last four years at the first TUIDA meeting of the year held on January 28. TUIDA Executive Director Kyle Fletcher spoke on behalf of the board, stating how much they appreciated everything he has done during his tenure, including stepping up to fill in when there was no executive director and for his leadership. Hightower was presented an award as a symbol of the board’s appreciation. He is shown receiving his award from Executive Director Kyle Fletcher. Fletcher also expressed the board’s appreciation for other outgoing TUIDA members Maurice Raines, John Broadnax and Danny Brinks for all of their hard work while serving on the board. They were also presented awards, but due to scheduling conflicts were unable to make the board meeting.
