Members of SNUP (Spay and Neuter Upson Pets) presented Upson County Animal Control Director Smart Web and the Board of Commissioners with a painting of Bo, the Upson County Animal Shelter mascot, at Tuesday’s County Commission meeting. The group, which is a non-profit organization that helps promote the spaying and neutering of pets in Upson and surrounding areas, stated the picture, rendered by local artist Trevor George, is a symbol of their appreciation to Web for assisting the organization to bring the H.E.L.P. Spay/Neuter clinics transport services to the shelter twice a month. Pictured are SNUP members (l-r) Chris Boyle, Anne Kelley, Tami Boyle and Peggy Ferrell with Smart Web (center).
