Mrs. Lisa Deanne Wheeler Clay, age 34, of Thomaston, Ga., died January 22, 2013 at the Medical Center of Central Georgia.

Mrs. Clay was born on July 18, 1978 in Thomaston, Ga., to Wendell and Judy Wheeler. She graduated from Upson-Lee High School in 1996. After graduation, she attended Gordon College and then attended Mercer University Southern School of Pharmacy, where she received her Pharmacist degree in 2002. Mrs. Clay was employed with Wal-Mart in Griffin, Ga., where she worked as the manager in the Pharmacy Department.

Survivors include her husband, Mr. Jeremy Heath Clay of Thomaston, Ga.; sons, Jacob Clay and Hunter Clay, both of Thomaston, Ga.; father, Mr. Wendell Wheeler of Thomaston, Ga.; mother, Mrs. Judy Wheeler of Thomaston, Ga.; brothers, Mr. Billy Wheeler of Thomaston, Ga., Mr. Dell Wheeler of Thomaston, Ga.; sisters, Mrs. Wendy (Ryan) Hasley of Atlanta, Ga., Miss Niki Wheeler of Thomaston, Ga.; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Mr. Jim and Mary Clay of Thomaston, Ga.; honorary sister, Jennifer McDaniel; brother-in-law, Josh Clay; niece, Ashlyn Clay; nephew, Mason Hasley.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 2 p.m. from The Storehouse Church. Burial will follow in Crystal Hill Cemetery. The family will received friends at Coggins Funeral Home on Friday, January 25, 2013, from 5-7 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Jacob & Hunter Clay Memorial Fund at West Central Georgia Bank at any location.

Coggins Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
