Mrs. Charlotte Marie Duecker, 67, of 113 Salter Rd., Thomaston, died Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at her home.
Funeral services for Mrs. Duecker will be held Friday, December 21, 2012 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of the Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home. Rev. Darnell Teal and Rev. Gene Turkett will officiate and burial will follow in Upson Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Duecker was born in Cedartown, Ga., on March 17, 1945, but had made her home in Thomaston for a number of years. She was a clerk in the Probate Court of Upson County until her retirement in April of 2009.
Mrs. Duecker was a member of the New Harmony Baptist Church and served as organist at the church for many years. She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Turkett.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Raymond Duecker; two daughters, Stacey Logue of Thomaston and Melissa Hickox of LaGrange; a son, Scott (Jill) Duecker of Thomaston; a step-son, Terry Paul Duecker of Berlin, Penn.; a brother, Rev. Gene (Sally) Turkett of Palmetto; five grandchildren, Erik Logue, Drew Duecker, Jessica Duecker, Brittany Karr and Brooks Hickox; and six great-grandchildren, Lilly Duecker, Raelynn Duecker, Trent Hester, Tanner Hester, Tinsley Karr and Payton Duecker.
