Mr. Tony Lamar Higgs, age 52, of Zebulon, Ga., died December 10, 2012 at his residence.

Mr. Higgs was born on July 24, 1960 in Nashville, Ga., to the late Clarence and Margaret Higgs. He worked as a machinist for many years. Mr. Higgs was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and also a member of the T-Town Toyz Car Club.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Teresa Legg Higgs of Zebulon, Ga.; brother, Mr. Wayne Higgs of Fort Valley, Ga.; sisters, Mrs. Teresa Frisbee of Thomaston, Ga., Mrs. Beth Carraway of Thomaston, Ga., Mrs. Tammy Greear of Thomaston, Ga.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday December 12, 2012 at 4 p.m. from New Hope Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Upson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at New Hope Baptist Church on Wednesday December 12, 2012 from 2-4 p.m.

In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Local Cancer Society at 804 Cherry St, Ste A, Macon, GA 31201.
