Mrs. Rubye Butts Fraser, age 98, formerly of Thomaston, died Wednesday, November 14, 2012, in McCalls Hospice House in Simpsonville, South Carolina.

Funeral services will be held Monday, November 19,2012 in Flint River Primitive Baptist Church, at 1:30 p.m. Elder Julius Stewart will officiate. Burial will follow in Flint River Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Fraser was born in Upson County, Ga. to the late Johnnie Butts and the late Parilee Daniel Butts. She lived in Upson County for a number of years before moving to Conyers to be near her daughter. Prior to retirement, Mrs. Fraser was employed for 25 years by Kroger, where she worked in the meat department.

Survivors are daughter, Janice Gresham, of Conyers, Ga; son, Johnny (Linda) Fraser of Simpsonville, SC; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
