Mrs. Annie Ruth Byrd Waggoner, age 80, formerly of Yatesville, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2012 in Paris, California. The family may be contacted at the home of her niece, Mrs. Shirley Raines, who lives at 215 Drake Drive in Thomaston.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at 11 a.m. from the Raymond Henry Bentley Memorial Chapel at Bentley’s Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. Family and friends will be served food at the Greater Mt. Zion Baptist Fellowship Hall immediately following funeral services.

Mrs. Waggoner is survived by two sons: Mr. Rosevelt (Betty)Waggoner of Rialto, Cal., Mr. Lawrence (Ann) Waggoner of Tusan, Ariz.; sister: Annette Lockett of Boston, Mass.; other relatives including: Shirley Raines, Shirley Richardson, Doris Cater, Teresa Thomas and families, James Thomas, and the Lyons families of Yatesville, Ga.; the Mallory family of Griffin, Ga.
