The wet weather held no one back at the City’s third annual yard sale. A large variety of items were available, from clothes to nick-knacks, and even Girl Scout cookies.

“The yard sale went pretty good considering the weather,” said Gail Hammock of the Downtown Action Committee.

All proceeds went toward the Thomaston-Upson Rotary Club’s Phone Home Project. This project buys minutes for families to call their relatives who are serving overseas.
