Funeral services for Mr. William “Mickey” Ellerbee, 66, of North Pickard Road, will be held Tuesday, March 11, 2008, at 2 p.m., at Hendricks Baptist Church, with the Rev. Don Coogler officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Ellerbee died Saturday, March 8, 2008, at Upson Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Ellerbee was a native and life-long resident of Thomaston. He worked as a meat cutter from the age of 16 until his retirement. He worked for Fowler's Thriftway, A & P, Big Star and Lewis Jones Grocery stores.

Mr. Ellerbee attended Hendricks Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Ellerbee; a daughter, Lisa (Barry Blalock) Ellerbee of Hiram; sons, J. Michael Ellerbee and Clint (Jennifer) Ellerbee, both of Thomaston; his mother, Mrs. Inez H. Ellerbee of Thomaston; sisters, Barbara Grace of Marietta and Kay (Warren) Darsey of Thomaston; and brothers, David Ellerbee of Jacksonville, Fla., and Carey (Tracey) Ellerbee of Thomaston.

The family can be contacted at the residence on North Pickard Road.

Visitation will be held this evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
