UL losing streak hits five games

Wes McCard/The Thomaston Times The Upson Lee Lady Knights suffered four losses last week as they started region play, losing to region foes Perry (11-0) and Mary Persons (3-0). On Saturday the Lady Knights faced Hampton in a double header, losing both games by scores of 8-0 and 12-4 respectively. They have lost their last five games. The Lady Knights will host Veterans in a Region 5 match up today at the ULHS softball complex. Above, Taylor King lays down a bunt in the Lady Knights’ loss to Perry last week. The Lady Knights are currently 4-7 overall and 0-2 in region play.
