Upson-Lee’s Jeremii Hobbs, Wyquavious Battles, Anquavius Tunstall, and Keanan Hutchins were recently named Middle Georgia 4x100m Relay Team of the Year by the Macon Telegraph. The Knights placed third in the region track meet with a time of 43.34, which was good enough to send them to the Sectionals in Carrollton.

In Carrollton the Knights placed sixth overall and bettered their time by nearly a full second, running a time of 42.43 seconds.

Their fastest time of the year came in the State Finals, as the Knights ran a time of 41.99, the second fastest time in school history.

The Knights hope to see another trip to the finals in 2016, as three of the four team members return next season.

Upson Lee junior Jeremii Hobbs placed fifth in the state in the 100m dash, which also earned him a place on the All-Middle Georgia Track Team in the 100m event.
