Thomaston’s Mayfield family on Family Feud Thursday
by submitted

Family Feud host Steve Harvey and his no-holds-barred brand of comedy are back for an all-new season of America’s favorite family competition. The Mayfield Family from Thomaston, GA will face off against the McNulty Family from Atlanta, GA in front of a live studio audience in Atlanta, GA, with the chance to win up to $100,000 and a brand new car, along with some serious bragging rights. The show airs Thursday, May 9 at 7 p.m. on WUPA (Channel 69).

The Mayfield Family – which includes Amber, an administrator; brother Trey, a service technician; sister Rebecca, an executive accounts assistant; mother Vicki, a homemaker; and sister Heather, a homemaker – will be playing for big prize money plus a brand new car when they appear with the King of Comedy, host Steve Harvey.

“We auditioned for ‘Family Feud’ because we have always liked the show and we thought we would be good contestants,” said Trey. “If we win we plan to use the money on a big family vacation.”

One of the original Kings of Comedy, Harvey brings his ‘tell-it-like-it-is’ brand of humor to center stage where he keeps audiences in stitches for the show’s 14th season, now airing throughout the country in national syndication. Families travel from all over the U.S. to compete for big cash prizes on the set of Family Feud, and enjoy a great bonding experience while they’re at it.

One of the most beloved and successful game shows in history, Family Feud is produced by FremantleMedia North America and distributed by Debmar Mercury. Gaby Johnston is executive producer; Jim Roush is executive in charge of production; Ken Fuchs is director.
