NEWNAN - Mrs. Ruth Steele Mohler, age 96, of Newnan and formerly of The Rock, died Friday morning, January 25, 2013, in Savannah Court Assisted Living in Newnan.

Funeral services were held Monday, January 28, 2013 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home. Interment was in South View Cemetery. Rev. Joey Smith officiated.

Mrs. Mohler was born in Lebonan, Marion County, Kentucky, one of 13 children born to the late James Henry Steele and the late Sarah Ruth Drerwy Steele. She was a homemaker and a member of The Rock Baptist Church. Mrs. Mohler was predeceased by her husband, Dr. R. D. Mohler.

She is survived by two sons: Glenn D. (Jane) Mohler, of Ashville N.C. and Gordon B. (Rachel) Mohler of Newnan, Ga. Five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren also survive.
