The Community Wide Thanksgiving Service sponsored by the Upson County Ministerial Association will take place Wednesday night, Nov, 14, 7 p.m. at the Trinity Baptist Church in Thomaston.
Dr. Rex King, Pastor of the Mountain View Baptist Church will be the key note speaker. Danny Brown, Minister of Music at Trinity Baptist, will lead the choir and special music by several local singers.
Youth services will be conducted by the youth leadership team from East Thomaston Baptist. A children’s program will be led by the children’s ministry team from Trinity Baptist. A nursery will be provided.
An offering will be taken which will be used in the community assistance program. This offering will help families in Upson County with their electric bills, house payments, prescription drugs, or other emergencies.
This is an annual event for everyone in Upson County. A time for everyone to come together to give thanks for the past year. We are asking all churches to please transfer your Wednesday night services to Trinity Baptist for this once a year special event.
