As Thomaston Police Officer Bobby Ellington and an unidentified Georgia State Patrol Officer talk (right) a Kia Soul lays on its roof on East Gordon Street at the intersection with South Center Street. The accident happened around lunchtime Tuesday. Two women in the Kia were injured and transported to Upson Regional Medical Center, but their injuries were not life-threatening. The State Patrol had not released the incident report by presstime, but it is believed a bread delivery truck clipped the Kia at the intersection and sent it rolling onto its roof. More information on the accident will be in the Tuesday edition of The Thomaston Times.
