Southern Stitches Quilt Shop, located at 1615 Hwy 19 N, will open for business Saturday, 8 December 2012. Southern Stitches will offer 100% cotton quilting fabrics, notions, patterns, batting, thread, quilting services, and classes for beginners to advanced. The owner, Dana Brue, recently moved to Thomaston after following her husband, Dan, around the world in the Army. An avid quilter, owning a quilt shop has been her dream for some time.
