On Wednesday Swafford signed an athletic scholarship to play soccer for the Lady Rams at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in Richmond, VA. Swafford, who was originally committed to Georgia Southern, decided to follow former GSU coach Lindsey Vanderspiegel to VCU. The Lady Rams play Division I soccer in the Atlantic 10 Conference. Other schools on the A10 include, Dayton (Dayton, OH), La Salle (Philadelphia, PA), Saint Louis (St. Louis, MO), St. Bonaventure (St. Bonaventure,NY), George Mason (Fairfax, VA), George Washington (Washington, D.C.), Massachusetts (Amherst, MA), Saint Joseph's (Philadelphia, PA), Richmond (Richmond, VA), Fordham (Bronx, NY), Rhode Island (Kingston, RI), and Duquesne (Pittsburgh, PA). Upson-Lee senior and all-time leader in field goals made Tyler Stewart, signed a football scholarship to Mars Hill College in Mars Hill, N.C. on Wednesday. Stewart is a two time First Team All-Region kicker/punter.The Lions Division II football in the South Atlantic Conference. Other schools in the conference include Anderson University (Anderson, N.C.), Brevard College (Brevard, N.C), Carson-Newman University (Jefferson City, TN), Catawba College (Salisbury, N.C.), Coker College (Hartsville, S.C.), Lenoir-Rhyne University (Hickory, N.C.), Loncoln Memorial University (Harrogate, TN), Newberry College (Newberry, S.C.), Queens University (Charlotte, N.C.), Tusculum College (Tusculum, TN), and Wingate University (Wingate, N.C.).
