Senoia Raceway has begun to plan it’s 2014 season with the announcement of the 3rd Annual Senoia Raceway Swap & Shop slated for Saturday, March 8.
This is a perfect opportunity for racers to exchange unwanted parts and equipment for items needed to prepare for the new season. Swappers can begin setting up their displays at 8 a.m. with the general public admitted beginning at 9 a.m. The Swap & Shop will conclude around noon.
Senoia Raceway will also offer it’s first open practice of the season on Saturday, March 8, following the conclusion of the Swap & Shop. Drivers from any division will be allowed to practice from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. as the track will rotate divisions throughout the day.
The 2014 season of racing will open on the final Saturday of the month, March 29, and will offer racing in the Late Model, B Cadet, Hobby Stock, Mini Stock, Bomber and Modified Mini divisions. There will not be a change to the pit pass prices or grandstand admission for the new season.
A full schedule of events and finalized rulebook will be available shortly. Promoter Tim Moses does not anticipate significant changes to the current rules.
“The rules are pretty good already,” said Moses. “We will firm up a couple of gray areas we had come up this past year, but the make up of the specifications in each of our weekly classes will not change this year. What you have will be good for the 2014 season.”
