Lady Knights comeback falls just short in 50-46 loss

Upson-Lee senior Keondra Ausbrooks scores two points on a nice post up move down in the paint. After trailing 15-2 after the first quarter and 27-12 at halftime, the Lady Knights outscored the Lady Eagles of Northside-Warner Robins 34-23 in the second half of the game, but fell just short in a 50-46 defeat. Ausbrooks led the Lady Knights with 12 points and seven rebounds. Kiashona Carter also netted 12 points in the contest, include making 6 of 7 free throws. Freshman Kyjha Kendall scored a career high nine points, LaQuasha Hutcherson added six points, Jaleesa Gibson netted five points, while Jacarra Cherry chipped in with two points.
