For students who might be interested in continuing their education in one of the United States Service Academies, Second District Congressman Brad Wenstrup will be hosting an Academy Day where those interested students can gather information that could have a large impact on their futures.
“As a member of Congress, I have the privilege of nominating candidates to the United States Service Academies,” says Wenstrup. “Toward that end, I will be hosting our annual Academy Day for students interested in exploring these educational opportunities. Our service academies offer excellent academic programs while enabling students to develop valuable leadership skills.”
The Academy Day will be held on April 26 at Anderson High School, 7560 Forest Road, Cincinnati, OH 45255. Registration will begin at 10 a.m. with an accompanying Academy Fair occurring during the same period. The program will begin at 11 a.m. and should conclude no later that 12:45 p.m.
Representatives from the Air Force Academy, Naval Academy, United States Military Academy at West Point, Coastal Guard Academy, and Merchant Marine Academy will be on hand and will make brief presentations and answer any questions students and parents may have.
