West Georgia could seem some frost in the morning.
A frost advisory, which is in effect from 2 to 9 a.m. Thursday, is mainly along and north of a line from LaGrange to Forsyth to Warrenton, the National Weather Service says. With overnight temperatures from the lower to mid-30s, sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered, forecasters said.
West Georgia can expect lows in the upper 30s tonight and Thursday and the lower 30s Friday night. The mercury should reach near 70 Thursday, then dip to the upper 50s and lower 60s Friday and Saturday.
A warming trend begins Sunday, with highs near 70 and lows in the 40s.
Normal extremes for this time of year are 73 and 47.
