ULNE’s 2015 Veterans Day Program

Fifth grade students in the Purple Knights and Silver Knights classes presented a Veterans Celebration Program on Thursday, November 12 at the Upson Lee Fine Arts Center.
Local veterans Britty Dickens (pictured) and Gary Self (not pictured) passed out poppies to each of the students in honor of Veterans Day.
Rachel Jordan (center) performed a Red Skelton skit about the pledge to the American flag. She is pictured leading a group of her classmates to use sign language to say the Pledge of Allegiance.
Four young men present the flag at the beginning of the program.
Students sing the National Anthem.
Students in Mrs. Whittle’s class recite “Because of You” by Roger Robicheau.
Students recognize veterans in each branch of service of the military.
American flags were passed out to all of the veterans present at the program.
