THOMASTON - Mrs. Betty Willadean Phillips Partridge, age 81, of Thomaston, Ga. died January 17, 2013 at her residence.

Mrs. Partridge was born on April 21, 1931 in Meriwether County, Ga., to the late Marion and Cordell Phillips. She was employed with Upson County DFCS, where she worked as a case worker for over 25 years. Mrs. Partridge was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, AARP Yatesville Seniors and the Business Profession Women Club. She was preceded in death by two grandsons, Timmy and Weston Baldwin, and one great-granddaughter, Angel.

Survivors include her husband, Mr. Don Partridge of Thomaston, Ga.; daughters, Mrs. Donna (Dick) Baldwin of Douglasville, Ga., Mrs. Dee Ann (Philip) Bailey of Marietta Ga.; son, Mr. Phil (Nina) Partridge of Covington, Ga.; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 20, 2013 at 2 p.m. from Trinity Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Upson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Coggins Funeral Home on Saturday, January 19, 2013 from 5-8 p.m.
