If you don’t believe the headline, look on top of the box. It’s here.

Snow began falling late Tuesday afternoon, covering vehicles more than the roadway.

By 6 p.m., snow was covering everything.

Neither rain nor sleet nor snow will keep the Upson County Courthouse from shining like a beacon in the night.

Snow on the square turned ordinary objects into works of winter art, like this iron bench.

And this iron trash can enclosure looks out of this world.

The fountain behind the bell tower at First Baptist Church.

The flags of Greece and the USA hang in the snow in front of the Thomaston Cafe.

The first Confederate cannon ball fired at Fort Sumter sits on top of its monument as the snow continues to come down.
