Knights suffer 59-44 loss in lackluster effort

The Upson-Lee Knights took on the defending State Champions in a region 4 match up with Eagles Landing. The Knights had trouble scoring on the Golden Eagles’ zone defense, finishing the first half with only 16 points. Above, junior Dinasis Walker scores two of his nine points over an Eagles Landing defender. UL sophomore David Marshall finished with a double-double, scoring 17 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Malik Crafter added seven points, Antonio Grantling netted five points, while O’qualon Harris and Toby Fuentes each chipped in with three points in the loss. The Knights will host Dutchtown tonight at 7:30 p.m.
