Early voting for the City of Thomaston District 4 council seat continues through Friday, November 1. Voting days and hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Registrar’s Office, 305 South Hightower Street, Suite 130.

Registered voters in the City of Thomaston’s District 4 council area are the only voters in the county who will need to go the polls on General Election Day, November 5, 2013. District 4 voters will be voting on who will be their City Council representative for the next four years, Don Greathouse or Tempy Hoyal.

Greathouse won a special election on September 17, 2013 to fill the remaining three months in the term of the late Wallace Rhodes, who died in June. Hoyal also challenged him in that race. Greathouse was sworn into office on October 1, 2013, and is listed as the Incumbent on the ballot for the General Election

There are no county, state or national elections on the Nov. 5 General Election ballot.
